U-CD CH Starhavens Kaos of Solari CDX NA ASCA CD NAC NGC CGC"Kaos"Kaos is the most appropriately named dog we have. She is a high energy dog that loves to play. She is also a multi-talented dog. Her conformation career began when she was 6 months and 2 days old. At her first show, she made the cut of six in group and won the heart's of several onlookers. She made the trip to Columbus, OH for the American Kuvasz Association shows and won her puppy class two of the three days. At seven months, she earned her first points, back-to-back four point majors. She earned one more major on her way to finishing her championship at 13 months of age. She later earned a group placement. During her show career, Kaos was also attending obedience classes at West Mesa School for Dogs. After completing the basic classes, Kaos was accepted into a tutor class which we attended from 1995 to 2002. These classes focus on teaching all of the obedience exercises one step at a time and building on previous knowledge. She completed her Companion Dog title in December of 1997 by earning four legs and a second place. She has also completed her Australian Shepherd Club of America Companion Dog title and her United Kennel Club Companion Dog title. In May of 1999, she earned her first CDX leg with a score of 192 and a third place in a class of 24 dogs. At the 1999 Kuvasz National Specialty, she won the Open A class with a score of 192 for her second CDX leg and was High in Trial! Her third and final leg came in February 2000 with a third place in a class of 24 dogs! Around the time she turned two years old, she began working in agility. She is extremely enthusiastic about the sport and has learned to work very well. Kaos finished her NADAC Novice Agility Certificate in October 1998, her AKC Novice Agility title in April 1999, and her NADAC Novice Gamblers Certificate in May 1999. She has one of three legs for her AKC Novice Jumpers with Weaves title, and one of two legs for her NADAC Novice Jumpers Certificate. After a several year hiatus from agility to focus on obedience, we began showing in agility again at the age of 9! She had a great time until her retirement in the fall of 2003. She is now enjoying retirement and as many tummy rubs as she can get. Kaos has been tested for the most common health problems. Her hips are normal (PennHip 0.28/0.28, OFA KU-796F24F), her elbows are normal (KU-EL25), her eyes are normal (CERF KU-277/97-33), and her thyroid function is normal (KU-TH4/48F-T).
